We invited Christian Boucharenc from the National University of Singapore. This lecture presented the main pedagogical approaches in design fundamentals taught in the four great schools of Design of the 20th Century. Respectively the Bauhaus, the Vhutemas, the Chicago Bauhaus, and finally the Ulm School. For each school, some key examples illustrated the respective pedagogical approaches. Two tables summarized the global links between these four schools. The first one presented the pedagogical approach, and the second emphasized the links about the persons, correspondences, programs, meetings, publications, and exhibitions. Finally, one page had set a global conclusion.
