Kyushu University, Faculty of Design, Design Initiative for Inclusion & Diversity: Recruitment of 2 Technical Staff (Project Coordination, Research)

The Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, invites applications for the following staff positions.

1.Job title: Technical Staff (Project Coordination, Research) (Social Collaboration)

5. Responsibilities: We are looking for a person who can handle either or both of the following
(a) Planning, production, operation, budget/information management, coordination of implementation, and administrative work for workshops and events organized by the Design Initiative for Inclusion & Diversity, including website management, operation, information updating, and inquiries.
(b) Research work for the Design Initiative for Inclusion & Diversity (e.g., initiatives by corporate, non-profit sectors, innovative initiatives overseas, needs assessment, etc.), including website management, administration, information updating, and inquiries. 6.

6.Work location: Kyushu University Ohashi Campus
4-9-1 Shiobara, Minami-ku, Fukuoka 815-8540, Japan

7.Term of office: Until the end of March 2022 (with the possibility of renewal every year, up to three times)

8. Starting date: June 16, 2021 (tentative)

9. Eligibility (Applicants must meet several of the following conditions)
In addition to the above, the applicant must provide support for the planning, production, and management of research groups and events.
Applicants must be able to conduct interviews, write manuscripts, shoot videos, and facilitate workshops.
Experience in social research needs assessment and other research related to social inclusion design.
Able to communicate in English.
Able to communicate smoothly with various parties inside and outside the university to promote the work. 10.

10.Benefits
Salary: 10,400 yen to 14,400 yen per day (determined according to the university’s relevant regulations based on experience, etc.)
Working hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (60-minute break)
Working hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (rest hours: 60 minutes) ・Holidays: Saturdays and Sundays, national holidays, and days between December 29 and January 3
