2018 Human Science International Course Summer School

Every year, the Kyushu University, Faculty of Design, Human Science International Course engages in two kinds of recruitment activities to attract international students from around the world. Here, we would like to introduce one of these activities, which is our summer school.

The summer school has been held every year starting from 2011, and a total of 129 students have participated so far, from countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, China, Thailand, and the Philippines. For more on past events, click here.

The summer school aims to deepen participants’ understanding of education and research conducted at the Human Science International Course and serves as publicity for our recruitment. The program for the 2018 academic year took place at the Kyushu University Ohashi Campus from August 30 to September 11, and consisted of two parts; fifteen 90-minute lectures in the morning, followed by instruction at Lab Works in the afternoon. A total of 21 students participated in the program.
