The Head of the Media Department at Aalto University Professor Phillip Dean visited our campus.

In October 2017, we invited Professor Phillip Dean, the head of the media department at Aalto University, and we held an exchange of ideas and introduced each other’s research.

Aalto University has courses like sound design, game design, and social design, and it does research and projects that are in similar fields to what is done at our graduate school that are fairly rare even on a global level.

We held a discussion about strengthening student exchange programs, the possibilities for collaborative research, and concepts of social ecosystems that include Helsinki and Fukuoka.

In the future, we will strengthen our cooperation, and we will have conversations about continuing to have exchanges between teaching staff and students.
