Logo Design Contest for SDGs Design Unit

The Faculty of Design at Kyushu University will establish SDGs Design Unit in April 2018 to contribute in the realm of design towards the ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ (SDGs) set by the UN to be achieved by 2030. We held a student logo competition for the SDGs Design Unit, which will serve as the symbol of this new organization, as outlined below.

[Prize]
1st Prize winner: 30,000 Yen

[Requirements]
Please express the logo using all 17 SDGs colors, with the theme of ‘SDGs’ and ‘Design’.
Please unify the logo mark and create two types of “SDGsデザインユニット” in Japanese and ‘SDGs Design Unit’ in English.
Please follow the guidelines for the logo specification issued by the UNITED NATIONS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INFORMATION in using SDGs color.

[Application Deadline]
15th, March 2018

[Eligibility and conditions]
Student at Kyushu University.
It is limited to those of unpublished and original work.
Logo data of the first prize will be used on websites, images, booklets, etc.
The copyright of the logo is transferred to Faculty of Design Kyushu University.
For those who became the award winner, we will coordinate the design with Faculty of Design Kyushu University until the final logo is decided.

Please attach the logo data and send it by e-mail.
Please write your name, affiliation, student ID number, phone number and e-mail address in the e-mail.
Please enter the subject of the email as ‘SDGs Design Unit logo application’.
Please send pdf and ai data (outline data) with the resolution of 350 dpi within 1 MB to 5 MB.
