Geiko Global: Opening an International Exchange Portal Site

We launched the Geiko Global portal for international exchange, or “GG website.” The GG website is a web portal that supports foreign exchange students and Kyushu University students who wish to study abroad, implemented as part of the globalization efforts promoted by the School of Design and Graduate School of Design. We also post the voices of those who have experienced study abroad programs and gather practical information that may be useful for study-abroad students. Study-abroad students and students currently considering study-abroad programs participated in the content creation to identify useful information.

For Japanese and English bilingual students wishing to participate in a study abroad program from our university, we provide information in Japanese that is practical from an exchange student’s perspective, such as an overview of partner universities, procedural information including scholarships, and information about life abroad in the words of the participants of study abroad programs. In addition, information is distributed in English regarding foreign exchange from abroad.
