“Human Resource Requirements for Innovation” Symposium for the Future of Design × Business × Entrepreneurship

September 13th (Friday), 2019

Kyushu University Faculty of Design, Kyushu University Business School, and Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of Kyushu University were pleased to announce the “Human Resource Requirements for Innovation” symposium that discusses the future of design, business, and entrepreneurship.
Based on the keywords: “design × business × entrepreneurship,” we discussed the capabilities required for people who started an innovation from scratch and realized it for use in society, for example, entrepreneurs who started their own business or ‘intrapreneurs’ who started new businesses in an existing organization. We invited representatives of foreign-affiliated global B2B companies, venture capital that supports entrepreneur development, and consulting firms that support new business development for both large and small domestic companies to discuss a wide range of topics, including human resource requirements, methods of discovery, and development, and effective approach to self-development for business people who are motivated to create new value.
