SDGs Design International Awards 2019, Call for Competition: Nishi-Nippon City Bank Corporate Grant

This competition is organized for all students in the world to design solutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).The younger generation can use their design and creative skills to find solutions for what is the most urgent scenario in human history. With that strong conviction, we created these awards. While the deadline for submissions for the 3 themes under these awards has already passed, we were currently accepting ideas based on the theme of “new designs for banks in the cashless era” for the Nishi-Nippon City Bank Corporate Grant.

Entry Themes
Designing new bank storefronts for the cashless era

Application conditions
Come up with your ideas by combining one or more of the cards. Any genre of design is accepted. This not only includes design involving color and shape, but also design of services and social systems. We are seeking viable proposals that can help achieve the aims of the SDGs.

Eligibility
Any student in a Japanese or overseas university, vocational school, or graduate school (including working students), who is interested in design, may enter.
Students not majoring in design are also welcome to enter.
※Individuals or groups
※Able to present their work at the Kyushu University Ohashi Campus on March 14, 2020

Submission Requirements
Written Plan
Grant winners must create a presentation board.

Presentation
Grant winners will make presentations at the Kyushu University Ohashi Campus.
※Plans that pass the initial review will be published on this site.

Results (one winner) announced・・・Late January 2020 (planned)
Presentation/award ceremony・・・March 14, 2020

Grant Winner：250,000yen（Research Grant＋Special Grant）
For research on social issues and design
For travel expenses to Kyushu University Ohashi Campus
