This year, the Kyushu University Faculty of Design’s Social Art Lab crossed into the third phase and carried out the “Connecting the Sea and Myth – Shika no Shima Project 2018.” The theatre production titled “Singing Ajime-Sahou on the Winter Solstice – ISOLA2018” concludes this project. This was a production based on the ancient God and protector of the sea, Azumi-no-isora. The fresh performance brought Isora to life into the modern day, and was based on the kagura piece that is performed at the Imperial Court.
