The 4th Seminar for the Future of Design x Business x Entrepreneurship: 21st Century Working Methods and Innovation

January 16th, 2020

At the Robert Huang/Entrepreneurship Center (Kyushu University, Kyushu University Business School, Kyushu University Faculty of Design), we held the 4th Seminar for the Future of Design x Business x Entrepreneurship, “21st Century Working Methods and Innovation.”
Cybozu, Inc., with its slogan of “100 people, 100 working styles,” is a company that has been placed in the Great Place to Work® Institute Japan’s Great Place to Work ranking for the last six years, and in 2019 was selected as the best company in the Asian region “Great Place to Work” ranking, receiving high praise not only in Japan, but in the world. We invited Mr. Osamu Yamada, a proponent of personnel system reform, to give a special seminar to a limited number of participants. In his talk about what sort of organization structure and working methods are necessary in the modern age, Mr. Yamada gave us the secret to producing innovation from “Design x Business x Entrepreneurship” through management theory.
