Aalto University and the Finnish design educational workshop – past classes and future classes

March 4th, 2019 (Monday)

Finland is a country which is at the forefront of societal design education.

For the past five years, Kyushu University and Aalto University have been holding classes that take an in-depth look at the project “Redesign of Society”. The project looks into what society will be like in 2040.

For this workshop, we welcomed a special guest from Finland, Kari-Hans Kommonen. We reviewed the project and considering how design and entrepreneurship education changed from here onwards.

This project was supported by the Kyushu University, Faculty of Design, Joint International Educational Support Program.
