The Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, held an online symposium, “Societal Design Symposium.”
Under the theme of “Let’s talk about Societal Design,” we held an online symposium on “Societal Design” to explore a desirable future together and realize a sustainable society, free of charge.
Mr. Kari Hans Kommonen, Research Director of Archi Research Finland, lectured on what societal design is. In addition, Professor Hirai of the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, talked about the movement of social design in Japan.
In the latter half of the symposium, all the speakers held a panel discussion to deepen their thoughts on societal design.
