As part of the Qdai-jump Research Program (QR Program) “Development of Educational Programs integrating Medicine and Design for a Future Society,” we will hold an online seminar.
Design is expanding from the conventional design of “products” to “things” design that plans how to build a comfortable and safe life, and then to “vision” design that envisions a better society. Collaboration is expected in various areas of healthcare, such as product design to reduce the burden on medical professionals, and improvement of patient satisfaction through easy-to-understand explanatory materials and service design. In this seminar, we will introduce advanced approaches to the collaboration of medical and design/art and the human resource development program implemented at Kyushu University collaborating both fields. We are looking forward to the participation of many people from the medical field, design field, students, researchers, faculty members, companies, and the general public.
