The 6th Seminar for the Future of Design×Business×Entrepreneurship: "Designing the Creation of Value Online"

Faculty of Design Kyushu University, Kyushu University Business School (QBS), and Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of Kyushu University (QREC) were pleased to announce that they were holding the 6th Design×Business×Entrepreneurship seminar for thinking about Future, “Designing the Creation of Value Online.”

Our featured speaker at the seminar was Keita Takizawa, the president of PLAYWORKS Inc., known for assisting companies and society with tackling challenges they faced such as the development of organizations, promoting new businesses, and development of human resources through conducting workshops. He presented on the matter of how to create value unique to the online environment. Participants learned the secrets of creating new value through looking at case studies such as the &HAND project, which promotes social support for people with visual impairments and pregnant women, as well as lectures on online communication, a key medium in the With/After Coronavirus era.

Through the use of online designer workshops and inclusive designer and project facilitator workshops, we help solve various problems companies face, such as new businesses, organizational development, and human resource development. As the leader of PLAYERS, a pro bono team made up of a diverse group of professionals, I am working on the implementation of &HAND, a service that matches those who require assistance, such as pregnant women and disabled people, with people around via LINE, and VIBLO, a project which seeks to reinvent tactile paving for the blind through new technologies.Leader of the PLAYERS and &HAND Projects / Part-time Lecturer at Tsukuba University Graduate School / Lecturer at Aoyama Gakuin University’s Workshop Designer Development Program
